Review
A dark, rather closed, long-term shiraz with pleasingly balanced and brooding fruit, restrained creamy vanilla oak and firm, bony tannin. Its smoky, meaty and brambly bouquet of dark plums, cherries and chocolates reveal sweet earthy undertones and a musky fragrance. Long and savoury, its evolving, rustic palate steadily reveals more complexity and lusciousness, building in intensity towards its lingering finish of black fruit and minerals.
Jeremy Oliver, 93 points.
